Customizing Option

#1 Automatic Preselection of a Colleague as the Default Value for Requests

In general, employees can maintain their substitutes in their personal settings. In addition, as of this version it is possible to define "work colleagues" via a "colleague role". In the personal settings, you can select the desired "work colleague", who is then selected automatically (as the default value) in future absence requests. In this example, the "colleague role" was assigned to "Alexander Beck".

However, the "colleague role" must first be configured as shown in the table below:

When the requester (Rudi Renner) now submits an absence request, the previously defined "colleague" (Alexander Beck) automatically appears in the colleague selection. Otherwise, you can click the dropdown menu to select other colleagues who can review or approve the request.
