Job DeleteCalendarDates

The DeleteCalendarDates job deletes calendar entries from the groupware system that Webdesk previously created via groupware synchronization.

The job is currently not active in the supplied job descriptor and cannot be configured via its own job form. It should only be executed after technical coordination.

Persons processed

Only persons for whom groupware entries previously created by Webdesk exist in the table of synchronized entries, and who are designated for synchronization according to the groupware settings, are processed. Persons that are not synchronized are skipped.

Processing period

The period is formed from the groupware settings: the start is the current time minus the configured number of months in the past, the end is the current time plus the configured number of months in the future.

Deletion protection

The job requests the synchronized appointments with the flag configured for Webdesk entries. An appointment is only deleted if its ID is contained in the Webdesk-internal list of previously inserted entries. After successful deletion, the internal entry is also removed. This ensures that third-party groupware appointments are not deleted by this job.

Error behavior

Errors during the processing of a person are logged; processing of the remaining persons continues. Errors when deleting a person's appointments are also recorded in the job log.

The general job parameters such as trigger and job log apply as defined in central job management. The business-related period settings and the selection of persons to be synchronized are managed in the groupware settings.
