The design of the mobile clients (Webdesk Time Mobile, Webdesk Workflow Mobile and Webdesk Projecttime Mobile) was completely revised. A new font optimized specifically for mobile clients enables the use of the apps on smartphones with smaller displays as well.
Furthermore, the apps are now also available for Blackberry and Windows Phone (previously only iOS and Android).
There is now a new setting in the time tracking app "Webdesk Time Mobile" that makes it possible to also send the current geolocation (GPS position) of the smartphone when booking. In the Webdesk journal, this additional information can then also be displayed via a special configuration parameter.
Technically, the location info is stored as a booking note in the Time & Attendance system and, when displayed in the monthly journal, is visualized with a symbol known from Google Maps. Clicking the symbol then opens the Google Maps view showing the location where the booking was made.
