Job WfHouseKeeping
Purpose
The job WfHouseKeeping bundles several maintenance and repair operations in the Workflow module. In the supplied job descriptor it is currently not active and cannot be configured via its own configuration form.
Process
-
Repair inconsistent open processes: The workflow caches for activities, lists, process activities and process information are cleared. Then inconsistent running processes are identified and ended.
-
Repair inconsistent manual activities: Open manual activities without assigned processors are checked. Activities whose participant is an existing role or the process author are taken into account; system participants are excluded. The processor assignments are re-evaluated.
-
Delete unused process definitions: Unused process definitions are identified and deleted. Errors when deleting a single definition are logged; the remaining definitions continue to be processed.
-
Delete invalid default processor assignments: The role holder cache is cleared. For each default assignment, it is checked whether the stored processor is still authorized for the person and role. Assignments that are no longer valid are removed.
Post-processing
After the repair of the manual activities, the relevant workflow caches are cleared again. The number and results of the repairs and deletions are logged in the job log.
The job requires the Workflow module. The general job parameters such as trigger and mail notification apply as defined in central job management.
