Job importExchangeRates

Purpose and status

The job imports exchange rates via the providers selected in the configuration. It is configurable and is inactive by default in the job descriptor.

Configuration

• Select exchange rate provider (currencyProviderList): One or more providers are called sequentially.
• Overwrite existing rates (overwrite): Replaces already stored rates with the imported values.
• Reference currency (referenceCurrency): Is always included in the selection of required currencies.
• Import all currencies or Select currencies (importAllCurrencies, currencyChooser): Either all currencies offered by the provider or only the selected currencies are processed.
• Time interval (timeInterval): Days back (daysBack, at least 1) or Since (fromDate).

Processing

• A buffer period is taken into account for the start period so that weekends and public holidays are covered.
• With several providers, the provider processed later overwrites the previous value for duplicate currencies.
• New currencies are registered by the common import service.
