Job WfSyncPersons

The WfSyncPersons job synchronizes persons from the Webdesk database with the Shark database of the workflow engine. In addition, the names of organizational units are synchronized. This allows workflow lists to be evaluated and sorted by the names of authors and processors as well as by organizational units.

How it works

The job calls the central workflow synchronization and passes it the client assigned to the job. If the job is started with a client reference, only that client is processed; without a client assignment, synchronization is performed across all intended data.

Synchronization runs from Webdesk into the Shark database. Processing itself is performed by the workflow service; the job does not contain its own selection of individual tables or persons.

Configuration and activation

• The supplied job descriptor is active.
• The job cannot be configured via its own configuration form.
• The default setup provides for a daily run starting at 1:34 PM. The specific trigger can be adjusted in job management.

The general job parameters such as trigger and mail notification apply as defined in central job management.
