Purpose and Status

The job carries out announced terminations of employments. It is not configurable, is active by default in the job descriptor, and has a daily trigger.

Processing

• Terminations with the status ANNOUNCED whose termination date is in the past are processed.
• After successful processing, the termination service sets the termination to REALIZED.
• Active persons whose employment has currently ended are set to inactive. This means that login is no longer possible after the termination.
• Errors for individual terminations or persons are logged and do not prevent the processing of the remaining records.
