Job finish manual End System Activities

The job WfFinishManualEndSystemActivities finishes open workflow activities that are in the state open.running and have no processor. In the supplied descriptor it is currently not active but is configurable.

Selection of process instances

The job checks open process instances of the selected process definitions. Subprocesses are not included; all versions of the selected definitions are taken into account.

A JavaScript condition can be configured for the selection. It is evaluated with the workflow variables of the process instance. If no condition is stored, the job uses the default check based on the variable to_date or the combination of from_date, from_time_1 and to_time_1. If no matching time variable is available, the process instance is not processed. The determined point in time is extended by one minute and must lie before the current time.

Finishing the activities

For a selected process instance, all open activities are checked. Only activities in the state open.running without an assigned processor are finished with the system administrator as user. Activities with a processor or in another state are skipped.

Error behavior

Errors when evaluating a JavaScript condition are logged. Errors when finishing individual activities are also logged; the remaining activities and process instances continue to be processed.

The general job parameters such as trigger and mail notification apply as defined in central job management.
