Job reassignPerformerAfterXDaysOfInactivity
Purpose
The job reassignPerformerAfterXDaysOfInactivity assigns open workflow activities to a new processor after a configured period of inactivity. The job is active in the supplied descriptor and is configurable.
Selection of inactive activities
Open, running process instances of the selected process definitions are processed. Open activities with the selected role participant ID whose last state timestamp is at least the configured number of days in the past are taken into account.
If no relevant role is configured, the job ends the run without reassignments. If no new processor can be found, the activity is logged and not changed.
Absence check
With Check for absence of the performer, the reassignment additionally depends on the selected absence resolver. If there is exactly one possible processor, the activity is only reassigned if that person has been absent for the configured duration. If there are several possible processors, the enabled absence check does not lead to a reassignment.
- TaPersonAbsenceResolver: Checks the configured period based on the time and attendance bookings. A productive booking or a productive absence reason counts as presence.
-
WfPersonAbsenceResolver: Checks only the current day. The person counts as absent if a configured absence reason from the workflow client option
absenceCodesActivatingDeputyexists and there is no productive booking.
If the absence check is disabled, a suitable inactive activity is reassigned without an additional absence condition.
New processor
- When reassigning to a specific role, the responsible role holders are determined for the process author or the current processor, depending on the role competence target.
- Without a specific escalation role, a responsible role holder of the originally selected role is searched for based on the current processor.
- An activity is not escalated several times by the same job. For this, the job sets a workflow variable per process or activity instance with the prefix
reassignedToorreassignedToSpecificRole_and the role participant ID.
