This is a configurable job that allows multiple configurations and requires at least one configuration.

This job enables automatic project time booking coupled with attendance bookings. Here you can define that the project time booking is also automatically stopped when the employee is absent (TA absence) or restarted when the employee continues working (TA presence).

Job Configuration

Reset efforts longer than 24 hoursIf activated, those project bookings that already last more than 24 hours are reset to 0 (an error is assumed, manual rebooking is required).Stop efforts on absenceIf activated, the project time recording is automatically stopped when the employee is absent.Restart efforts on presenceIf activated, a project time recording that has been interrupted by a logoff (absence) is resumed again when logging in (attendance).

Here you can specifically select the persons and/or groups and/or clients for which the configured job shall apply. If the tickbox is checked for one or more categories, you can use the arrows to add persons/groups/clients either individually or collectively (all) for activation Job PtmStopAndContinueEfforts

The PtmStopAndContinueEfforts job controls project time bookings depending on the attendance status from the TA booking. The job is configurable and processes only the selected persons, groups, and clients.

Job Configuration

  • Reset bookings over 24 hours: Running project time bookings from the checked period that last longer than 24 hours are ended. Their end time is set to the start time, the amount is set to 0, and the status is set to FINISHED. This makes a faulty long-running booking visible for follow-up.
  • Stop bookings when leaving: If the person is absent or absent with a reason, running project time bookings are ended. Productive absences, for example remote work, count as present and are not stopped.
  • Start bookings when arriving: If the person is present, the most recently running project time booking, or the one interrupted by clocking out, can be restarted from the TA booking time. The setting for resuming must be activated.

Processing Period and Status

The job checks running bookings for the previous day and the current day. The TA booking status is determined for each selected person. Without an available TA booking service, the status cannot be determined; the corresponding processing then does not take place.

The specific effect can additionally be restricted via the person-specific settings for stopping when leaving and starting when arriving.

Persons, Groups, and Clients

The selection fields determine the persons, groups, and clients to which the job applies. If no persons are resolved, the job ends processing without making any changes.

The general job parameters such as trigger and email notification apply according to the central job management.
