Our review of 2020
A new year begins in just a few days. As always at this time of year, we look back on the past twelve months and let the Highlights of the year 2020 pass in review.
A turbulent 2020 is coming to an end. We didn't expect much. We thought Corona would come and go. But things turned out differently than expected. Everyday working life changed and we had to learn to deal with unexpected restrictions. We improvised and experimented with innovations more than ever before. This pushed many of us to our limits, both personally and professionally.
Nevertheless, we learned that this crisis can also make us stronger. In 2020, we certainly took the opportunity to question existing processes and rethink our solutions.
This is what happened in our company and in our HR software world:
Our development team developed 148 new features or parts of features, which were made available in 48 versions. We have also fixed 518 bugs and made 273 improvements to the product. All new features, innovations and updates can be found in our Personalwolke Online Manual under the heading "Personnel cloud updates".
In line with the Covid situation, we acted quickly and set up the "308 quarantine with continued pay" error reason for our customers in the personnel cloud. By submitting an application, all Personnel cloud TIME User to submit a quarantine message including an estimated duration.
Together instead of alone
We are particularly pleased that our cooperation with the Innovation Leader Prescreen our product portfolio in terms of functionality. In particular, Prescreen's recruiting solution will supplement the HR-Expert module with an automatic interface. In addition, our solution combined with Prescreen supports HR managers throughout the entire recruiting process, from the notification of personnel requirements through to the digital personnel file. Highest number of new customers reached
Despite the implementation and observance of strict social distancing measures, we reached our maximum number of new customers this year. We would particularly like to highlight the Nature and Wellness Hotel Höflehner as well as the Austrian Paralympic Committee, who have flown to new heights with us and are part of our customer success story.
Digital marketing plus Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube & Co.
We are particularly proud of the establishment of our marketing department, which is now headed by two qualified and dedicated ladies. From classic marketing measures to PR, mailings, online marketing and B2B activities, our two key positions contribute to the development of the company and the strengthening of the Personalwolke brand. Many thanks for this.
We use our new mailing campaign to keep our customers and readers up to date and intensify the relationship through regular blog posts. This year there were 21 of them.
With four webinar series, we have informed our customers about current topics relating to the HR cloud and imparted knowledge so that they can use the HR cloud even more effectively and quickly. This gives our customers more time for essential HR tasks. Thank you for the positive feedback and we look forward to more webinars in 2021.
For our Personnel cloud booking terminal a cross-media campaign was launched this year, which also expanded our website with an additional page.
Last but not least, we have strengthened our presence on social networks. We regularly provide our followers with new content about the personnel cloud as well as the latest news from the world of HR on LinkedIn. Valuable quick tips on how to use the personnel cloud more efficiently are regularly published on our YouTube channel published.
Online training courses
Due to the many cancellations of trade fairs and events and the difficulty of personal customer contact, we have decided to hold online product training courses. We are pleased that we have received a lot of positive feedback as a result. Our experts managed to take the efficient usability of the personnel cloud to a new level with valuable tips and tricks.
What's in store for 2021
We are focusing in particular on our website relaunch. Our website is set to go online in spring 2021 with a fresh and modern design.
Corona has changed the demand for HR software. Home office, short-time work and the digitalization of HR administration are topics that are in particularly high demand. We already have excellent and proven solutions for this, such as Personnel cloud for home office developed. However, we are not resting on our laurels in this area and are constantly working to expand and optimize our range.
In our view, the topic of artificial intelligence and digital assistants is becoming increasingly tangible. We are already working on a number of topics and will integrate a range of useful innovations here in the future.
Once again, we would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has made this year such a special success! We are looking ahead together with confidence and are ideally positioned for 2021 and have many new projects waiting to be implemented and publicized.
