Job migrateEmployeeId

Purpose and Status

The job transfers the personnel number and the marker for the effective employment to the configured IF6020 info fields of the TA person records. It is configurable and active by default in the job descriptor.

Configuration

• Overwrite fields (overwriteFields): If activated, the target values are written regardless of existing content.
• If the option is not activated, target fields that are already populated are not overwritten; the job logs a warning for this. If one of the two target fields is already populated, nothing is written for that TA person record.

Important Prerequisite

The job must not be assigned to a client. With a client assignment, it terminates with an error because it works system-wide.

Processing

The job determines the current TA IDs of the persons and, if HR is available, further TA IDs from the employments. The current TA ID is considered first; further IDs are processed by employment date and employment priority. For each TA person record, the personnel number and effectiveness marker are written to the configured target info fields. Errors and records that cannot be migrated are reported in the log.

The effectiveness marker written is J for the effective employment and N for the other employments.

Only persons with a TA ID whose client does not use a time system other than IF6020 are considered. Persons whose TA ID is also assigned to another currently valid person are skipped.
