Convert Alfresco Objects To Dm Objects

Purpose

The interruptible job converts objects of an Alfresco CMIS repository into Webdesk Document Management objects.

Configuration

  • Repository (repository): An Alfresco CMIS repository must be selected.
  • Base directory (basePath): The top-level objects of the repository below this path are processed.
  • Initial conversion (initialConversion, default true): DM folders and DM documents that have already been converted at the top level are skipped.

Behavior

  • The conversion runs recursively for each top-level object.
  • In normal mode, top-level objects that have already been converted can also be processed again in order to capture new or not yet converted child objects.
  • An interruption is only evaluated between top-level objects. The conversion of a top-level object that has been started runs to completion.
  • Errors of a top-level object are logged; further top-level objects are processed afterwards.
  • The results are output as a summary in the job log. Before a productive run, check the effects of the conversion on existing documents, versions, and IDs.
