Job Create RsType Objects Based on Groups

Purpose

For currently valid groups, the job automatically creates one active RsType object each and assigns it to the group and the selected RsType structure. In the job catalog, the job is inactive by default.

Configuration

• Client (clientName): If no client is selected, the groups of all clients are processed. Technically, the client UID is stored.
• Rescheduling structure (typeStructure): The RsType structure to which the new objects are assigned.
• Title (title): Title template for each new RsType object. $shortName is replaced by the group short name and $longName by the group name. If the template is empty, the group short name is used.
• Base group type (groupType): all for all active groups, onlyFlat for active flat groups only, or onlyHierarchical for active hierarchical groups only.

Behavior

• The groups are determined as of the current date, per client.
• For each matching group, a new, non-inactive RsType object is saved.
• Processing is attempted per group; individual errors are logged.
• The job does not check for existing RsType objects of the same kind. Repeated execution can therefore create additional objects.
