Use of meta components

When you access a web page on our website that contains such a component, your browser establishes a direct connection to Meta's servers. The content of this component is transmitted by Meta directly to your browser, which integrates it into the website. By integrating the component, Meta receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Meta, Meta can assign the visit to your Meta account. If you interact with the component, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Meta and stored there. If you are not a member of Meta, it is still possible for Meta to find out and store your IP address. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Meta as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy can be found in the Data protection information from Meta. If you are a Meta member and do not want Meta to collect data about you via this website and link it to your membership data stored with Meta, you must log out of Meta before visiting our website. It is also possible to block Meta social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the "Meta Blocker".

Newsletter

We offer you the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter on our website. With this newsletter we inform you about our offers at regular intervals. In order to receive our newsletter, you need a valid e-mail address. We will check the e-mail address you enter to ensure that you are actually the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner is authorized to receive the newsletter. When you register for our newsletter, we will save your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This serves as a safeguard on our part in the event that a third party misuses your e-mail address and subscribes to our newsletter without your knowledge. We do not collect any other data. The data collected in this way is used exclusively for the subscription to our newsletter. It will not be passed on to third parties. The data collected in this way is also not compared with data that may be collected by other components of our website. You can cancel your subscription to this newsletter at any time. Details can be found in the confirmation email and in each individual newsletter.

Use of the mailing service provider "MailChimp"

We use the MailChimp component to send our newsletter. MailChimp is a service provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Means Street, Suite 404, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA.

Your data stored when you register for the newsletter (e-mail address, name if applicable, IP address, date and time of your registration) will be transferred to a server of The Rocket Science Group in the USA and stored there in compliance with the "EU-US Privacy Shield".

Further information on data protection at MailChimp can be found at:

http://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

Further information on the "EU-US Privacy Shield" can be found at:

The Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information

http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/international-transfers/eu-us-privacy-shield/index_en.htm

With the help of MailChimp, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the email (known as a web beacon) connects to MailChimp's servers in the USA. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

You can cancel or revoke your subscription to the newsletter and thus your consent to the storage of your data at any time. Details on this can be found in the confirmation email and in each individual newsletter.
