At each workflow step, the next processor in the process can receive an email notification informing them that an activity needs to be performed. The text of the email notification can be defined individually per process. If the standard email notification text is not sufficient for a process, it can be overridden here.
The standard email notification is defined in the system parameters:
|
wf |
WfProcessDefinitionDAOTarget |
defaultMailBody |
|---|---|---|
|
wf |
WfProcessDefinitionDAOTarget |
defaultMailSubject |
Plain text or HTML text can be used in the body.
In this email, it is possible to access all process variables by means of placeholders using the templating language "Velocity" (see: http://velocity.apache.org). In addition, the following placeholders are available:
|

$poService.getPerson($process_author_workflowid).getFullName() |

Be careful when copying/pasting the parameter; ideally paste it into a text editor first so that no styles are adopted from the editor |
|
${from_date} |
Date of creation of the request |

${absence_code} |
