License information

Under the menu item System > Current license a dedicated action with license information has been implemented, which compares the absolute licenses with the consumed ones and thereby calculates the free licenses.

Here you can see, among other things:

• Type of license
• Number of occupied (used) licenses
• Total number of licenses available
• Possible expiry date for temporary licenses

Messages in the event of a license overrun

In the event of a license overrun (when creating new employees, creating roles, etc.), the administrator is alerted by error messages that there are not enough licenses:

when saving, a message appears that the maximum number of licenses (Max amount) has been exceeded.

Furthermore, when synchronizing employee data from the time management system, a system message is to be issued if there are not enough licenses available to synchronize all users into Webdesk. Until now the synchronization was carried out normally, even if no new users could be created because of the license. The message can also be sent by mail; the settings for this are made in the system parameters:

• licenceManagerEmail: this contains the e-mail address of the recipient
  the mail is sent to this address
• sendMailToLicenceManagerIfTresholdReached: true
  true means the mail is sent, false means the mail is not sent
• tresholdFactor: 0.95
  when 95% of the license is used up, the mail is sent
