Job Start Connector Link Sync

Purpose

The startConnectorLinkSync job starts the synchronization of several selected connector links in the order of the job configuration. In the descriptor that ships with the product it is currently not active, but it is configurable and interruptible.

Configuration

Connector links are selected via a repeater. The UID of the connector link is stored for each row. The order of the rows corresponds to the order in which the links are processed. The configuration of the selected connector link can be opened via the edit link.

Process

  1. The job reads the configured link UIDs from the job XML.
  2. As long as no interruption has been requested, each row is processed in turn.
  3. The connector link is loaded including its mappings and passed to the synchronization service.
  4. If the UID no longer exists, the entry is skipped without synchronization.

An interruption prevents further links from starting. An error during the synchronization of a link is not caught per link and can end the rest of the run; therefore check the job log.

The general job parameters such as trigger and mail notification apply as described in the central job management.
