Job autoCreateTravelFolders

Purpose and status

The job creates a travel folder for the current month for selected persons and starts the associated travel process. It requires Travel and Workflow, is configurable and is inactive by default in the job descriptor.

Configuration

• Persons, groups and clients are specified via the common selection.
• Respect user setting (checkUserSetting): If enabled, only persons who have also enabled automatic creation in their personal settings are processed.

Processing

• For each selected person, the period from the first to the last day of the current month is used.
• A travel folder is only created if no existing travel folder overlaps or touches the period.
• The new travel folder receives a trip ID; then the matching travel workflow is searched for and started.
